19154 5K Race

Parkwood's Home Course

The 19154 5K Race takes runners through a chip-timed, USATF-Certified course in the Parkwood Manor neighborhood and Torrey Woods.  Everyone is welcome to walk or run: athletes & amateurs, runners & walkers, adults & children, seniors & students, individuals & teams.

Every race depends on good volunteers.  Can you help?  Assistance is needed with the following tasks:

  • Registration
  • Course Marshals (directing runners/walkers on the course)
  • Facilitating the Kids' Fun Run
  • Working the water station
  • Babysitting
  • Organizing the awards ceremony
  • Cleaning up the grounds
  • Various other tasks

Volunteers must be available to attend one organizational meeting on the Monday evening preceding the race (January 30, 2017) at 7 PM in the Parish Hall.  Volunteers should also be available to be on site by 8:00 AM on race day.

Volunteers will all receive a special race t-shirt as a thank-you for their service.
